LECTURE AS PERFORMANCE, PERFORMANCE AS LECTURE - ON THE PRODUCTION OF KNOWLEDGE IN THE ARTS
LEYKAM INTERNATIONAL (2019)
Despite its popularity on the contemporary art scene, the lecture performance remains a chronically neglected phenomenon in theory worldwide, calling for contemporary interpretations and readings. This book is therefore an important contribution to the conceptualisation of a genre that operates at the boundary between artistic and academic practice, and between performance and theory, revealing some of the fault lines in these fields.
